We have good news for you. Prompted by the expected increase in demand for logistics support at the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources (GINR), we have now revised and streamlined the entire booking process. This will make it easier for you to book the necessary facilities for your project, e.g. boat transport, accommodations, meals, and office and laboratory facilities. In addition, you will be able to check the bookings you have made with us online at any time.
Everything is done from one webpage: ”Booking of facilities”. All you need to do is navigate to the page (direct link: http://www.natur.gl/index.php?id=819&L=3), open a form and fill in a few mandatory details about your project plus your specific logistics requests. Then, simply email the completed form to our administrative department (booking@natur.gl), where our staff will make sure your request is processed correctly, and that you receive a quick response.
On the booking page you will also find a current list of prices and an online booking calendar. The booking calendar will be a useful tool for you, as it enables you to check the availability of a given facility in advance and to see which projects have already entered their bookings. In this way, you will be able to find available periods/facilities and, if relevant, coordinate your plans with those of other projects. We thus recommend that you begin your booking by visiting our calendar. For clarity’s sake, separate calendars have been established for boats, accommodations, office facilities, and laboratory facilities.
We have decided that booking will be ”first-come, first-served”, so we strongly recommend that you send us your requests for 2010 ASAP.
